FLOWBOX

The FLOWBOX is a pre-installed filter zone of just 2 m², with which it is possible to purify up to 40 m³ of water.
The simple design allows for quick installation, and the consistently easy serviceability ensures trouble-free operation. This simplifies planning and calculation, and errors during installation are almost entirely ruled out.

The BioWaterPool FLOWBOX replaces conventional filter zones for treating water for natural pools. Each FLOWBOX has a defined performance with the highest level of functional reliability.

The FLOWBOX contains a specially developed, floating filter material, which is subjected to constant flow, causing biofilm to form on it. This removes all nutrients from the water, making it biologically stable and clean. The biofilm is harvested using an integrated air purge; under average load, this occurs approximately once a month due to the small filter volume. The plant zone is integrated, resulting in a minimal space requirement. Filter technology has never been so easy!

The patented functional principle

The principle of biological water treatment is based on the targeted cultivation of biofilm. Through its growth, this removes nutrients from the water, which would accumulate through use and surface inputs and lead to the formation of algae. In the BioWaterPool FLOWBOX there is a specially developed, floating filter material, which is subjected to constant flow, which causes this biofilm to form exactly there. This removes all nutrients from the water, making it biologically stable and naturally clean. A mass development of algae, plankton or bacteria is no longer possible under normal loads, and preservation or disinfection is no longer necessary.

In order to enable particularly effective cleaning of the entire filter bed (harvesting of the biofilm), the integrated air purging system is provided. The FLOWBOX is thereby completely regenerated. Under average load, this happens approximately once a month due to the small filter volume.

Quick and easy setup

The BioWaterPool FLOWBOX is a pre-installed filter zone, which is available in a standardized size. It can be set up freely (self-supporting construction) and covered as desired or buried, although it should be noted that the FLOWBOX upper edge should be at least 40 cm above the pool water level.

All parts of the FLOWBOX remain accessible even after installation. This offers the opportunity for service, updates and upgrades - because the development of new materials and the use of the latest technologies should also be applicable in older systems. The built-in FLOWBOX therefore always remains up to date.

Due to its small space requirement, the FLOWBOX is a simple but effective solution for both new systems and existing systems as a conversion or retrofitting unit.
